Craniosacral Therapy (CST) taps into your body’s healing intelligence at a gentle pace just right for your nervous system using light touch and gentle, non-invasive movement. The results may include unwinding dis-ease, supporting & soothing the nervous system, and an increase in vitality.
Craniosacral Therapy with Elizabeth is a gentle exploration of physical well-being through a careful unwinding of trauma, injury, and imbalance at your body’s pace. Regular sessions are either 90- or 60-minutes long, which includes time at the beginning and end to come into alignment about goals, results, and experiences.
Craniosacral Therapy Sessions are typically cozy and relaxing. After a discussion to come into alignment about your goals, we get you settled on the massage table, fully clothed. Using Craniosacral techniques, I apply gentle pressure to feel into how your body wants to unwind through the movement of cerebrospinal fluid, muscles, tendons, and joints.
Stress, tension, and injury can cause tissues to tighten or constrict, putting a strain on the central nervous system and interfering with the proper functioning of the body, including the flow of cerebrospinal fluid. Light touch and fascia release may help your muscles and organs naturally relieve stress and chronic pain, which may improve function. Additionally, the experience may activate the Parasympathetic Nervous System, allowing you to fully relax and release.
At the end of the treatment, we have the chance to review the experience and any suggestions for continued wellness.
